Annco Miura
A Japanese painter from Shizuoka Prefecture. As a child, he learned how to hold a brush from his aunt, a calligraphy teacher, and was given opportunities to engage with paintings and other works of art. His aunt’s approach to education, which emphasized feeling and expressing oneself freely, laid the foundation for his current practice—one in which he continues to create with a spirit of adventure, unbound by tradition or convention. As he continued to create on a daily basis, he left Japan and began considering a move to France to make it possible to realize more emotionally rich expressions. 2010 I began living in Paris at the end of the year, and in joined a Paris-based arts organization and began her career as a professional painter in France. She actively traveled from Paris to various cities and countries, encountering people and cultures to gain further inspiration. By “experiencing” a foreign land far from Japan, she rediscovered the deep-rooted presence of her own country’s culture and spirituality within herself. Over the course of several years, through repeated experimentation and the discovery of new techniques, his artistic creations—composed of abstract paintings—utilize “shapes” and “lines” that symbolize the infinite possibilities and complexities arising from the labyrinthine path of life: pursuit, discovery, adventure, failure, and success. His works, which possess both great dynamism and delicacy, allow viewers to sense the vibration of the air and “space,” which is why the fifth and sixth and the 5.5 . Currently, he participates in exhibitions and salons at galleries in various countries and cities, primarily based in his Paris studio. His works are part of major collections in Japan, France, Italy, New York, and elsewhere. In Paris, he is particularly active at the MIRROIR in the Marais district, as well as 16th at the LINDA FARRELL , two solo exhibitions, she continues to engage actively with collectors.
